Daly Hill Selections - Week 18 (11/03/2017)

So here it is, the final week of the Daly Hill Syndicate challenge. I think it is fair to say it has been a roaring failure. Only Joey's performance has iced the turd that has been our selections.
We all came up short last week which meant that this week was always going to be one for the hail mary bets and the lads have not disappointed. In better news it is Cheltenham next week and we have been to forums and yelled abuse at Mick Fitzgerald so we feel alive once more.
Our antepost bets have been taking shape for weeks now and this festival could potentially be our best yet, then again we could be puking in tesco carrier bags on the coach, the margins are that fine.
MARKET MOVER - MAXIE T & PETTICOAT TAILS 32/1 Double
Although in second place I have let myself down in this competition although to be fair I am not the only one. In what can only be described as a hot streak I have been tearing through footy accas the last couple of weeks and have seriously increased my Cheltenham pot. But I need to transfer this luck to the nags or none of this good fortune will matter. Reasoning has gone out the window now. They have to win, plain and simple.
JOEY GAMBLE - NOT ANOTHER MUDDLE - 3.00pm SANDOWN - 9/1
As Joey repeatedly tells us he has this competition by the balls. Even he hasnt had the success I think we all expected but with the rest of us being a shower of sh*t he has been in cruise control for the last 10 weeks. He didn't even need to pick a higher priced horse this week but it feels like he is trying to rub salt in the wounds. Put it this way we all have our £25's ready to give to him on the coach on Thursday.
BILLY BRIDLE - FULL IRISH & SOUTHPORT - 51/1 Double
Along with JJ Billy has been the whipping boy of this competition. You have to think he is saving some of his best form for the imaginary riding of horses on the hill next week. Billy will paint this as a hard luck story but there is no excuse for the sh*t show that JJ and himself have produced. It is pretty simple this needs to land otherwise he has spent 18 weeks backing losers. Take that form to Prestbury park and he will have no money for a lapdance from Rhonda the single mum from Solihull.
EDDIE CASINO - KAYF BLANCO & CASH AGAIN -107/1 double
Eddie continues to surprise us and this week is no exception. A bombshell was dropped and it potentially could be a devastating blow for the syndicate (no he hasn't dyed his hair). Needing to overturn a £600 deficit Eddie has decided to go full retard and put up a 107/1 double. It will not only see him win the competition it would probably put the Syndicate in overall profit which is frankly ridiculous considering how awful we have been. We just hope he is on good form next week as it will be fun to watch him and Billy battling over Rhonda
JJ THE JETPLANE - MINELLA AWARDS & FIXE LE KAP - 50/1 DOUBLE
JJ hasnt been able to aftertime which could explain his performance in this comp. When asked to show his cards and deliver he has been found severely wanting. We cant underestimate him though, although Carrick Boy was a good few years ago now a 77/1 should would surely see him victorious. As it turns out he has plumped for a 50/1 shot, stranger things have happened to be fair but I think him and Billy will be picking up either end of the wooden spoon.
