And the salt was well and truly rubbed into our wounds as Joey who didn't even need to pick a double nailed his 4/1 to go another 100 miles clear in the challenge. £562.50 is the gap between 1st and 2nd which means there will have to be some serious hail mary bets being thrown at this in the last 2 weeks.

In better news we can almost smell the turf at Cheltenham and Joey in particular is looking forward to his 100 notes from us, although it is going to be questionable what he does with it. I am back in the emerald isle this weekend so all our selections for this one horse race will be on twitter.

I've gone for a cheeky double on O'Faolins Boy & Vibrato Valtat at 39/1. If it wins I go to the top of the leader board but there is more chance of one of us coming back from Solihull without getting a slap.
