Daly Hill Selections - Week 12 (28/01/2017)

Joey Gamble once again comes up smelling of roses. It was only a 13/8 winner but at this stage he doesn't need much more of those considering how badly the rest of us are doing at this.

It has also been a bad week for Eddie Casino as his Cheltenham pot took a crushing blow as his selection for the womens open crashed and burned to a grandma in the Quarter Finals. I suppose it saved her from a thorough walloping from his girlfriend in the semis.

It is Cheltenham this weekend and I imagine that alot of selections will come from our favourite racecourse. We shall see.

MARKET MOVER - SINGLEFARMPAYMENT - 12.35 CHELT - 11/2

The missus is away this weekend so I have a few days of sitting in my pants and watching football and racing to look forward to. It is 4 weeks to my little trip to see Moaty in Lanza so I have been hitting the gym hard as opposed to the doughnuts. I probably should hit the form book as I could easily find myself bottom this weekend. My selection has a win at the course and goes on all sorts of ground. Win this and I maybe breaking even which would be splendid.

JJ THE JETPLANE - MORE BUCKS - 12.05 CHELT - 16/1 EW

JJ has been spending the week punting on European tour golf and its likely he is deeper in a few more obscure fat asians that he hasn't told us about. He still props up our table and it could be an early death for his selection. His reasoning for his pick is somewhat sentimental 'Big Bucks innit' Ahh the memories.

EDDIE CASINO - ANOTHER HERO - 3.40 DONC - 10/1 Win

After Pliskova missed out Eddie is looking for another route to get on the plane to Lanzerote with me in a few weeks. Lucas Glover in the golf is his next option although a nice punt on this selection may very well see him on the plane. That is if there is anything to see after Joey Gambles last visit. On his selection he states 'Desperate times mean I turn to Jonjo and JP in a handicap and just hope it is trying. Imagine I will be taking the same approach in a few weeks'.

JOEY GAMBLE - WAIT FOR ME - 4.35 CHELT - 11/2 Win

Joey has been bullish following his short priced winner last week. He was leaving us random abusive voice messages on Whatsapp while on the p*ss this week and giving us his thoughts on Robert Snodgrass (which I can confirm wasn't positive). Weirdly Joey had his selection picked last night whilst suffering from the hangover from hell. His reasoning is simple 'Because Geraghty runs Cheltenham, be shocked if it comes off the bridle' Sadly this was a late non runner and he has replaced with Wait for Me who is ridden by Dickie Johnson so the reasoning is still the same!

BILLY BRIDLE - OUT SAM - 3.40 DONC - 8/1 Win

Billy has listened to the advice of others and not gone for the hail mary bet as yet. At the moment he is at war with Halifax for their sh*thouse mortgage lending rules so if he comes up with nothing again today I can see a homemade firebomb ending up through Howard's letterbox. His selection is a horse I quite like myself. He says 'The track should suit it's jumping and I know you were jizzing about this horse at Cheltenham a while back'.
