Daly Hill Syndicate Selections - Week 11 (21/01/2017)

More carnage in the syndicate this week as we all drew a blank, a couple of second places picked but no sign of a winner. Our losing picks have been made to look even worse with the senior member of the syndicate Moaty picking winners for fun and then after-timing them to rub it in our faces. I am sure we will get our own back in February when we visit his bar and put it out of business.

In a week where we have been keeping an eye on the womens Australian open a bit more than we normally do the lads have come up with these gems to try to give our table a look of respectability. Joey hasn't picked a winner in a while but the rest of the syndicate are not capitalising on that.

EDDIE CASINO - SAUSALITO SUNRISE - 3.15 HAYDOCK - 11/1 EW

Eddie is ignoring the likely abuse he will receive for digging out an each way selection again but he isn't panicking despite Joey having over £200 lead on him. He could be forgiven if his mind wanders elsewhere this Saturday as the Australian Open 3rd round concludes. Apparently his selection loves a bog (not in the George Michael sense), Dicky Johnson is on board and the racing at Haydock will actually be on which is a good start.

THE MARKET MOVER - DEFINITLY RED - 3.15 HAYDOCK - 4/1

After doing my maths and realising that a 4/1 winner would actually give me a chance of being near the profit zone I have decided to take a more calm approach to my selections. This horse has won at the course before goes well in most conditions particularly soft and if Brooke doesn't give it a decent ride he will most certainly end up definitely red.

As I had to fly to Ireland the other lads don't get a write up this week. Needless to say on reflection the lads on the bottom of the table are chasing the big one already, chucking in win doubles when they cant even pick their noses is an interesting tactic.
