Daly Hill Syndicate Selections - Week 10 (14/01/2017)

After being struck down with the man flu which is f*cking deadly I might add I was the only one to pick up some sort of result as Loose Chips managed to sneak a place at 20/1.
In a week where Dimi Payet has decided that he doesn't like playing with a bunch of clowns and has downed tools, we are kind of hoping that Joey Gamble decides to do something similar to give us some sort of chance of getting back into this. Cheltenham is 2 months away and although we are excited about blowing our beans at Prestbury Park we now realise time is running out to make up some ground.
MARKET MOVER - KRUZLININ - 3.15 Kempton - 11/2 Win
After following a strict regime of fitness this week to combat the previous 33 years or beer and copious burgers, I am hoping this will equate to healthy body / healthy mind. After my moderate profit last week I should probably plump for another each way shot to chip away at Joey's lead but that would be a cautious act and I cant be doing that now we are over half way in the challenge. Dicky has been in half decent form recently and I am expecting a big run from a horse who seems to peak this time of year and has won over course and distance.
JOEY GAMBLE - JALEO - 2.40 KEMPTON - 9/1 - Win
Joey has been up in Leeds this week no doubt taking the p*ss out of the locals and sampling the local ale and the local talent. We also learned that apparently Cadbury's creme eggs are not conducive to a long and healthy life..... who would have thought it. But its not all superficial entertainment that Joey likes to frequent, he was spotted enjoying Jersey Boys this week (the musical that is) so its not just Legs 11 that gives our leader his kicks. On his selection 'It sounds like JJ's pole dancing name and Eddie doesn't fancy it so I know it is a sure thing. And its the Lanzerote Hurdle and you know I run Lanza'
BILLY BRIDLE - TEMPLE ROSS - 2.40 KEMPTON - 16/1 - Win
Billy kept up his sterling form in this competition by picking another loser. His reluctance to go each way on some reasonably prices sorts are costing him, has he learned from this? Has he f*ck. The only bald man who can slate my hair line and not recognise the irony has decided to go for Temple Ross a 16/1 shot....... to win. His reasoning makes sense but then again it always seems to until it tails off on the day ' It is low in the weights and Bargary is back on board who won with him previously, it only runs bad at Chelts which means Kempton should be a picnic in comparison'. Billy thinks I will be looking at my temples more in the future but I would say he should watch out for his own when I roundhouse kick him in it.
EDDIE CASINO - KAKI DE LA PREE - 3.35 WARWICK - 9/1 Win
Eddie seems to be a very happy man at the moment, he is openly punting a nice chunk of money on female tennis players he has never heard of and doesn't seem all that bothered about it. He has asked me to bring the grand to Cheltenham when she wins and present it to him in some sort of elaborate ceremony on Daly Hill. It would be some Thursday for Eddie if that happened, although he is likely to chuck the lot on a 'dead cert' and see it reverse as it gets to the hill. On his selection he states 'Shapes like a marathon test will suit, Fehily on board for the first time and trainer in decent form' The only negative for Eddie is that I doubt he is shaping like a marathon test would suit him with all the Italian food he gets fed.
JJ THE JETPLANE - COGRY 8/1 & CHESTERFIELD 8/1 - 80/1 - Each Way Double
After being a sarcy d*ck this morning JJ finally gives us his selection. I think he was trying to give the impression he was thinking long and hard about it but he has done the same crazy sh*t he always does and swerved his first selection Champers On Ice and gone for an each way double. If they both win it pays 80/1 and would see him fly to the top of the leader board. But we all know that isn't going to happen. On the plus side for him I have a stash of tesco carrier bags in my cupboard so he wont have to pay 5p when he gets on the coach bound for Cheltenham in March.
