Daly Hill Syndicate Selections - Week 8 (01/01/2017)

Our usual poor form was in force after Xmas and we cant exactly blame an overindulgence on some genetically modified meat for being this rubbish. Eddie Casino did pick up a 40/1 place though which sees him jump into second. I am writing this hungover after clearing up vomit and picking glass out of my wife's foot so apologies if this is a little mistake riddled.
EDDIE CASINO - SHEARLING 3.40 CHELTENHAM - 5/1 Win (Replaced with White Valient EW)
Following his monster place Eddie has been strutting around real Spain like a boss. He doesn't even get stopped at the Gibraltar border anymore on his way to work. El Canelo's confidence is sky high. He went through his Italian agent to give us his best bet this week due to poor wifi issues (he probably had 500 Euro on a 2/5 shot that got beat and he decided to smash up his router). No real explanations for this one although he has his hands full as he might have to pick Joey's horse
JJ - VILLAGE VIC & FAGAN 2.00 CHELTENHAM & 2.40 FAIRYHOUSE - 24/1 Win Double
Not being deterred by his shocking performance so far in this contest JJ has decided to plump for another win double. He had one out of two win last week so the hope is that he goes one better although I would say it is more likely that I do anything other than eat and sit in my pants all day. When asked he said ' Fagan has a stand out piece of form after his second to UknowhatimeanHarry and Village Vic is a gutsy front runner with the champ jockey on board' Can't fail then can it?
MARKET MOVER - POETIC RHYTHM - 12.15 CHELTENHAM - 9/1 Win
In what could be another early death for me I have based this decision on a strong hangover so please forgive me if it ends up in the glue factory. But in my defense this horse has won at Cheltenham before and should like the forecast rain. the 9/1 price was tempting me each way due to my abundance of places and no wins on this challenge but I need to find my balls if I am going to get back into this.
BILLY BRIDLE - ADRIEN DU PONT - 3.10 - CHELTENHAM - 12/1 Win
Billy probably had a quiet New year with his kids so he was the first to put his selection in which was surprising as he is probably fresh as daisy this morning. After landing 4 out of 4 in a lucky 15 a few days ago his confidence is sky high, it needs to be to be honest as he has been nothing short of shocking in this competition. When asked for his reasoning he said use the Oddschecker write up. So he is a lazy pr*ck aswell as sober.
JOEY GAMBLE - LIL ROCKERFELLER - 3.05 CHELTENHAM - 4/1
Joey is in Lanzerote at the moment and probably sleeping in the road outside of Moaty's bar. He finally woke up to just say 'I will have the favourite in the big race at Cheltenham' Needless to say the effort that Joey is displaying in this challenge is nothing short of staggering and still he is kicking our a*ses.
