Daly Hill Syndicate Selections - Week 7 (26-27/12/2016)

Of course Joey Gamble lands a win after being in some sort of alcohol induced coma. The comp is turning a bit farcical at the moment with two of the lads not even picking up a place in 6 weeks and the leader has basically had two winners when he was too drunk to pick a horse so plumped for the favourite, and then passed out the next time so Eddie Casino stepped in to put up a horse for him.

Either way Joey leads and we move onto the next week.

JOEY GAMBLE - ONENIGHTINVIENNA- 2.40 CHEPSTOW - 10/1

Strangely Joey was in first with his selection this week. This maybe due to the fact that weirdly Xmas is the only time he isn't actually out on the beers. When saying to him that this was in fact on the 27th and not Boxing day he replied 'I run this competition. I'll do what the f*ck I want. I am single handedly keeping you lot afloat. To be fair to him at the moment he isn't wrong.

THE MARKET MOVER - SAN BENEDETO - 1.30 KEMPTON - 8/1

After getting a small lead in the first week with an each way punt the temptation is very much there again to do something similar. But to be honest we wont be catching Joey with little each way pocket change so I am going in for the win again. I have consumed my weight in pigs in blankets so much so that I now look like one. I fancy San Benedeto to go well in this, he looks like he will make a chaser. But just watch this finish in the frame like all the other 'winners' I put up.

EDDIE CASINO - BEG TO DIFFER - 2.40 CHEPSTOW - 40/1 EW

Following on from giving his brother an each way winner last weekend Eddie is again looking for each way value, this time for himself. After initially selecting a non runner Eddie seems to be panicking already by putting up a 40/1 shot. I will never question Eddie's logic though despite the numerous value losers he has given me recently.

JJ THE JETPLANE - BLACKLION & POKER SCHOOL WIN DOUBLE - 20/1

In what was probably the boldest/stupidest move so far JJ text us on Xmas Day and decided that despite not being able to give us a winner in 6 weeks that he was going to put up a win double. On further inspection we revealed that JJ had been on the strongbows so was feeling a bit brave. Needless to say this is a bold move and will almost certainly see him take the lead if it lands.

BILLY BRIDLE - MILANSBAR - 2.40 CHEPSTOW - 33/1 EW

After telling one of our followers that he was going to find a 33/1 shot to blow the rest of the syndicate out of the water he seems to have done just that with this nag who seems a bit over priced. As most of the syndicate were too drunk / hungover to provide reasoning for their selections I took them at face value. Plus DJ was probably too busy losing his mind at kids Xmas at Birthday parties to even give a damn.
