Daly Hill Syndicate Selections - Week 3 (26/11/2016)

Following an absolute shower of a week for the Syndicate we are ready and raring to go hoping that it cant get any worse. Maybe Eddie Casino's insult to Joey Gamble applies for all of us, maybe we cant tip sh*t out of a bucket!!

The lads have been concentrating hard this week. Billy Bridle's selection landed in my inbox on Thursday morning to show how keen he is to right the wrongs of the last two weeks. Although he did manage to pick a horse that I really fancied this weekend but more on that later. Strap yourself in, the selections should be interesting.

EDDIE CASINO - HENRI PARRY MORGAN - 3.10 NEWBURY - 11/1 E/W

After spending the week in France and leaving his missus in the bars while he headed to Auteuil racecourse Mr Casino has been keen to find a winner. When I mean winner I really mean a barman who wont throw him out for chucking a few chairs around the gaff. After being too busy consuming french pastries Eddie was in no mood to research. On hearing the Jetplane had said he fancied Henri Parry Morgan to run a decent race, Eddie stole his selection and put it up as his own. No explanation needed Eddie Casino is a wrongun of the highest order

JOEY GAMBLE - - 3.10 NEWBURY - 6/1 Win

Joey is a bit late to the party this week, which is unusual for him, mainly because nobody would ever invite him to a party. He has gone for some pretty ballsy selections the last two weeks which hasn't gone in his favour and he joins JJ and Billy on the poor bus. At the moment he has gone AWOL, I imagine he is slumped in the doorway of one of London's finest wine bars and will be getting the morning train back to his gaff. In his absence I was going to put up Blaklion for him, which I quite fancy in the Hennessey. But on typing this he has woken from his drunken slumber to select Native River on the basis he couldn't be bothered to scroll down the card. A sure way to nail a win I imagine.

JJ THE JETPLANE - AUBUSSON - 3.10 NEWBURY 33/1 Each Way

JJ has been pretty active with punting this week with not much luck sadly. Which means we are likely to have a drunken message on Friday evening aftertiming a bet he had won. But in fairness when he has bad week a big win is usually around the corner which makes me like his selection even more interesting. He maybe joining the 'Place Monkeys' but at 33/1 this is bold. When asked about the horse himself the Jetplane was bullish 'It comes under the radar as its been racing in France and could make a mockery of his handicap mark' One thing is for sure if it lands then it will make a mockery of the Daly Hill Syndicate challenge table.

BILLY BRIDLE - APPLES JADE - 2.55 NEWCASTLE - 4/1 Win

Billy got in nice and early this week which displeased me greatly as he plumped for the horse that I fancied myself. Despite hoping that it now falls on its face this one has got real chances and looks well in with the favourite Sceau Royal. A quote from the man himself 'I am ignoring its defeat first time out this horse is class' Despite nearly bursting a blood vessel this week with house purchase problems if this goes in it is sure to cheer Billy up and make sure he makes some sort of mark on the table.

MARKET MOVER - MYSTIFIABLE - 1.30 NEWBURY - 8/1 Win

After seeing that Billy Bridle had stolen his selection Apples Jade, after getting his pick in early on Thursday (Typical shrewd little f*cker trying to grab a big early price knowing he can pick something else if it is a non runner) and then having Zubayr withdraw means that the Mover was stuck for options this week. To be honest this selection is more of a throw your toys out of the pram because you cant get what you want selection. Mystifiable does go OK first time out and I just cant be having Antony completing a 3 timer. So just watch him hose up now.
