Daly Hill Syndicate Selections - Week 2 (19/11/2016)

It was an interesting first week in the challenge. Insults were thrown around between the syndicate towards the top two for being 'place monkeys' and cries of fixer directed towards the Market Mover after taking the lead in the challenge.

A week is a long time and after dipping in and out of a few markets we have all come back together to provide our best bets for week 2 of the challenge. As I will be spending most of the day frequenting the bars and casinos in Brighton I thought it would be best to get the thoughts of the syndicate nice and early.

The Daly Hill selection odds are based on when the selections are made but the best price is taken if the selection goes off at bigger odds. The lads have been thinking and below is what they have come up with.

Eddie Casino - SAROQUE 100/30 - 3.35 Haydock - WIN

The enigma has left his current residence of real Spain and will be taking in the action on home soil. It's his first time in the UK since the messiness of Market Movers Vegas stag do and rumour has it he is now banned from Premier Inn hotels in the vicinity of Gatwick Airport.

Put simply Eddie has said ' Venetia is in form, the horse has a great record fresh and I need to get to the airport so no time for a detailed look'

Joey Gamble - CONEYGREE , YANWORTH, MY TENT OR YOURS - WIN TREBLE - 10/1

Following a week in sunny Coventry frequenting the local gentleman's establishments Joey Gamble is feeling bold with his selections. He was absolutely disgusted that Eddie and the Market Mover picked each way selections last week and to compound his disdain he decided to go balls out on a win treble.

A nice quote from Joey to explain his selection ' Stick this on the site, and my reasoning is stick it up your a*se aswell, Each way donut eating aids bunch of c*nts'

The Jetplane - VANITEUX - 9/4 - 3.15 ASCOT - WIN

JJ has been dipping into the horses and the golf this week with varied success. Doing this competition is a bit foreign for him as he actually has to name his selections before announcing a winner.

Following another heavy session on the beers and a genuine fear that another pair of suit trousers was about to get binned JJ came up with a solid looking selection away from the big race action at Haydock. After initially plumping for Gods Own JJ decided to switch allegiance to Vaniteux. As usual he didn't provide an explanation for his selection therefore it is hard to tell if the change of heart was alcohol induced.

Billy Bridle - UNOWHATIMEANHARRY - 8/1 - 2.25 HAYDOCK - WIN - Non Runner

Replacement YALA ENKI 11/2

After spending most of Tuesday evening cursing the referee in the England vs Spain friendly for not giving a blatant corner to land a cheeky instabet, Billy was the first to react and provide his selection for this week.

To quote Mr Bridle after his slightly angry week ' I'm feeling like an off his meds Frank Bruno in his garden, which brings me onto my selection' It is hoped that he picks up a winner, as that along with missing out on a all day drinking session will do nothing to improve his mood.

Market Mover - ALOOMOMO - 3/1 - 12.25 ASCOT

Following a mad week in the office and trying to lose the 20 stone he put on during his honeymoon the Mover found it hard to land on his selection this week. 'My main focus has been on making sure my beer jacket and wellies are packed for this weekend rather than studying form'

This obviously doesn't give much confidence in the selection made but there is method in the madness. The horse goes well first time out and likes a bit of mud. In addition to this it is in a race where some of the horses could be anything so selecting a horse with half decent course form is a no brainer.
