Daly Hill Syndicate Selections - Week 1 (12/11/2016)

It's the first week and everyone wants to impress. We will be keeping tabs on the syndicates progress here to a level £20 stake. So we can laugh and ridicule at the biggest loser and offer praise and adulation to the betting god sitting high on Daly Hill.

Week 1 selections -

Tom (Eddie Casino) - 3.00 Cheltenham - THEEAGLEHASLANDED 14/1 (Each Way) - Replaced with 3.35 Cheltenham - RED INFANTRY 8/1 (Each Way)

Eddie has been up checking the internet weather from his Spanish server patiently waiting to pull the trigger on his selection. In his own words 'Joey Gamble couldnt tip sh*t out of a bucket so I am ruling out Supreme Vinnie straight away. My lad hacked up around Cheltenham at the end of last season and is still open to improvement. Decent jockey claiming 5 who rode Silsol to victory for Nicholls in a big Saturday race 2 weeks ago'

Update - As the Eagle did not land (Non runner) Eddie replaced his selection with Red Infantry in the 3.35

Kieran (Joey Gamble) - 3.00 Cheltenham - SUPREME VINNIE 12/1 (Win)

When pushed for the reasoning behind this horse Joey Gamble simply replied 'My favourite boozer in the city is called the Vinny and I wouldnt mind running through the jockey' I am sure there is more reasoning behind this shrewd selection but at this time this is all I have.

JJ (Jetplane) - 3.35 Cheltenham - FOR GOOD MEASURE 8/1 (Win)

After being out on the beers last night the Jetplane is a bit late to the party with his selection. Knowing his aftertime history I was surprised he didn't give us a horse that has already won. After some frustrating back and forth I finally got this one out of him. Following an argument about another horses finishing place in the Albert Bartlett with Eddie Casino he ignored that and plumped for this. I am not even going to waste more time trying to ask him why....

Ross (Market Mover) - 2.25 Cheltenham - BUYWISE 16/1 (Each Way)

I had a few in mind this morning and even though I don't like putting up each way shots I can't get away from Buywise who finishes like he just stole something. The horse is madder than a box of frogs but it cant be denied that he steams up the hill. While I don't think he has enough class to beat More of That he surely has to run into the top 5.

Darren (Billy Bridle) - 2.25 Cheltenham - BOUVREUIL 14/1 (Win)

I don't think this is reference to his favourite hot beverage but he seems pretty sweet on this one. It has been primed for this race and after deciding that More of That seems too good to be true he plumped for this. He also hasn't wimped out by doing it each way which can only garner respect from the syndicate.
