On Daly Hill - From Left to Right - JJ, Moaty, Ross, Tom (the floating head), Kieran & Darren
The Daly Hill Syndicate was formed by gathering on a small mound of sacred turf in front of the temporary stand at the Cheltenham Festival. Although 'Daly Hill' is no longer there, the syndicate lives on and gives the place a nod whenever Prestbury Park gets a visit. The elder statesman of the Daly Hill Syndicate affectionately known as Moaty will not be involved in the site, but let it be known he loves nothing more than taking his winning £50 notes and wiping his nose with them.
The five men who are taking you on this journey of torture and glory are:
Tom (Eddie Casino) - Famed for his notoriously large stakes and disappearing off the face of the earth when having a bad punting month Eddie Casino is an enigma. His sightings are rarer than a Sunderland win. When he does surface he produces the kind of punting magic that makes you give your head a jog in amazement
Kieran (Joey Gamble) - Eddie's brother and all round entertainer. Nothing is ever boring with the youngest member of the Daly Hill Syndicate. He is more likely to laugh hysterically when others lose than he is to console them. But when he gets on a roll the whole world stops jumps on his train and buckles in for the ride.
JJ (The Jetplane) - The Jetplane is prone to a rush of blood to the head punting wise, but he holds the record for the single greatest punting day in Cheltenham Festival history. He has been chasing a follow up to his Carrickboy 77/1 shot ever since which makes the ensuing car crash a must watch.
Ross (TheMarketMover) - Always looking for new ways to bet and strange markets to punt on. Most likely to see him making cash on a random league both team to score bet. Claims to be the king of the free in play bet after landing a grand from his Ashley Williams anytime goalscorer in the Wales vs Belgium Euro 2016 QF.
Darren (Bobby Bridle). - Shrewd as it gets, Darren is what alot of us aspire to be. He turns small stakes into giant wins, bets with a calm head and is famed for nailing the placepot on the two days he visited the Cheltenham Festival. More than likely to be screaming 'It's Cruising!!' right at the start of a 3 mile chase.
